Working life is full of situations requiring negotiation skills: Customers negotiate with service providers, sellers with buyers, business owners with employees and/or business partners, politicians and diplomats with their own kind. Anyone wishing to defend their own interests and influence others in a particular direction without the use of force needs to be a skilful negotiator.

Negotiation training is designed to:

• make one aware of one's own strengths and weaknesses during negotiations
• teach successful negotiating strategies
• examine the cultural differences concerning appropriate negotiation behaviour
