Annette Ulrich is a psychologist and has worked in health training for a number of years before doing postgraduate studies in Intercultural Communication at the University of Luton (UK). She has taught intercultural theory at the same university and has done research on reducing prejudice against Arabs in intercultural training at the University of Applied Sciences in Heilbronn.

Annette now lives near Trier and divides her time between working as an intercultural trainer and taking care of her little family. Her main points of focus in the intercultural arena are German identity, the issue of stereotyping in intercultural training, and intercultural issues in the health sector. Annette is originally from Saarland in southwest Germany, but has lived in many other regions of Germany as well as the UK, Jordan, and Ramallah. She speaks German, English, French, and Arabic.
