Robert Giardina


Robert Giardina is an experienced intercultural, conflict resolution and language trainer, speaker and consultant working in university and multi-national business settings.

He has more than 20 years of work experience throughout North America and Europe (including the US and Spain), servicing clients that include Sara Lee, Bayer, Wrigley, and the North American Institute in Barcelona. He is an instructor at the Universitat de Barcelona and the Universitat de La Salle/Ramon Llull. He has an International Masters in Conflict Resolution from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, and bachelor’s degrees in Food Marketing and English from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, USA. Rob is a founding board member of SIETAR Spain (Society for Intercultural Education, Training and Research) and was the President of SIETAR Europa in 2009-10.

Rob Giardina has deep experience in working with individuals and groups at all levels, using their issues, personalities and stories to create meaningful, appropriate and energetic courses that move, entertain and educate the participants in a way that accommodates their power, their competitive instincts and their scarcity of time.

Today his work covers a number of training areas including – Raising Cultural Awareness, International Communication, Conflict Resolution, Negotiation, Diversity and Difference, Synergy from Difference, Virtual Team Building, International Presentation Skills, Moderation Techniques, Giving Constructive Feedback, Creativity Techniques, Team Building, Repatriation and Country Culture Briefings (US, Spain, and Catalonia.)
