Friederike von Denffer trains and consults a broad spectrum of professionals in the scientific and management communities, such as: lawyers, service personnel, medical doctors, students, teachers, managers, police officers etc. In addition to this, she has closely collaborated with Non-Profit organizations from diverse fields in the development of intercultural training programs. Her intercultural communication training methods and contents focus on the general intercultural sensitization of seminar participants.
Moreover, her seminars and courses are geared towards providing professionals working in an American and German context with the know-how and essential tools necessary for improving intercultural competencies.
Ms. von Denffer studied Sociology, Intercultural Communication and Psychology at Ludwig-Maximilians University Munich, Germany. During a one year »trip around the world« she expanded her intercultural practical knowledge in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand and the USA. After gathering work experience in the multi-media industry, Ms. von Denffer began working as a free-lance trainer and consultant in the areas of intercultural communication and soft skills.
She has developed and taught courses concerning Intercultural Management and Communication & Presentation at several universities in Germany.
Her further education includes: Intercultural Mediation, Tolerance Management and Diversity Management.
She is an acting board member of the «Society for Intercultural Education, Training and Research« SIETAR Germany (www.sietar-deutschland.de) as well as the Editor-in-Chief of its biannual scientific publication, the "SIETAR Journal".
