Michael Grundwald is a highly qualified professional with almost 20 years' experience in the field of intercultural communication, training and management. After completing his undergraduate BA (Honours) degree in Psychology and Human Geography at Sydney University, he relocated to Germany in 1983. In 1989 he attained national German accreditation as a German-English translator and in 1995 he completed a post-graduate degree (Diplom) in Work & Organisational Psychology at Osnabrück University, specialising in intercultural management within the field of International Human Resources.
Michael has been involved in the design and/or presentation of a number of intercultural management projects/programs for a range of clients in both Germany and Australia, including A.C.Nielsen, QANTAS and Sydney University. He also has the benchmark national Australian training accreditation "Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training".
In his spare time Michael is an intrepid traveller and enjoys polishing his intercultural skills at every opportunity. He has spent considerable time in most Western European countries, India and South-East Asia, Morocco, Papua New Guinea, New Zealand and the USA. In addition to English and German, he also speaks conversational Spanish and enjoys dabbling in many other foreign tongues. He is an avid skier (former ski instructor) and roller blader, as well as a keen 'sideline sportsman'.
